For every Cielle machine purchased, a new tree will be planted in the Paneveggio Forest, also known as the “forest of violins,” because its wood has been chosen by luthiers throughout history for its unique resonance qualities.
On the night of October 29, 2018, about 4 million cubic meters of trees in Trentino were destroyed due to an unusual bad weather known as Vaia storm that affected various areas of the northeast. This was a devastating event for the region, whose woodland and forestry heritage are an integral part of its history and the people who live there.
Every new tree planted has great value for everyone because it absorbs carbon dioxide, ensures biodiversity, counteracts soil erosion, provides shade and shelter, and represents a precious collective heritage.
